Luna Lovegood Jacket

Here is another Luna creation that I made. This one is her jacket that she wore in the 4th movie. The jacket is blue because I wanted to do a test run if the pattern before I do the real version in purple(like in the movie). I had to modify the pattern(found here) to fit me but it it was fun and quick to do and looks just like Luna's.

Eventually,I will get around to doing the purple version but it will be a while since I got a bunch more stuff to crochet. ;-)

Happy Valentine's Day!

My dolls and I wish you a Happy Valentine's Day! I hope it was a good one!

Luna Lovegood Scarf

Luna Lovegood is one of my favorite Harry Potter characters. So naturally I had to find patterns to crochet that are associated with her. One of those patterns is for the scarf she wore in the 5th movie. Pattern can be found here. The pattern was very easy,so easy that I worked it up in a weekend. Yea for fast projects! The scarf looks a little wider than Luna's in the movie so maybe using thinner yarn would help. But I think it looks neat the way it is.

Spirit Hood

Have you guys seen Spirit Hoods? I have and I love them! I think they are so awesome because they are very Indian-y and unique. But I didn't want to spend $119 on one. So I set out to make my own! After a trip to JoAnn's and waiting a bit for it to get colder(I made this in October),my Spirit Hood look-a-like was born! I made it out of fuzzy blanket like material(instead of faux fur) and flannel for the lining. It is warm, cozy, and has pockets on the ends for your hands. I love pockets! Now for pictures of what I think is my favorite hat.

Thanks for looking!

Felted Flower Hat

Last winter,I crocheted a cloche hat for me from a pattern from the Crochet Today magazine. It was my first felting a hat and I was very pleased with the outcome. I added flowers to the hat(also felted) just because I thought it would be cute. :-)
